Welcome to the Ripon VX Club website!
Ripon VX Club was established by Tom Hildreth and Helen Mackenzie. The club enjoyed a close relationship with Ripon Grammar School - the VX National Centre of Excellence at the time. This was an initiative led by Helen Mackenzie. They trained Thursday evenings in the school sports hall.
It was once the largest VX Club of all and was certainly one of the most successful. Several of the players went on to compete internationally and/or to become part of the England VX squad
The club was sadly hit very hard by Covid. It tried to continue after the pandemic but in the end it sadly folded.
